Jessica Robinson Jewelry
In Fall 2009, the Jessica Robinson Jewelry collection took form with energetic; architectural contours, surprising symmetries and bold statement pieces. “There’s a new dynamic with my jewelry ideas and specifically with jewelry’s relationship to clothing,” said Robinson, whose studio is near New York’s Union Square, close to where she was raised. “I’m coming full circle with my fashion background by peppering full looks with jewelry in unexpected proportions and locations on the body.”
To date, Robinson’s designs are sold at stores in California and New York. But even with the brand’s evolution and growing success, Robinson and her designs remain grounded in her practice of yoga. “I wanted to make a collection that was less than traditional, but that didn’t abandon the essence of where the collections originated,” said Robinson. In September 2012, Robinson’s Ava Diana Crown was accepted to be part of the “Brilliant” showcase as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Collection curated by Carol Woolton of Vogue UK for the Masterpiece London 2012 exhibition. |
